This is a Dutch import CD of GFR's 1971 album "E. Pluribus Funk", clearly a goof on U.S. coins, which have the Latin inscription "E. Pluribus Unum". It was originally purchased in a mail order catalog specializing in hard to find music. This CD comes in a special jewel case, and matching special issue box. Like most imports, hard to find. A must for Grand Funk Railroad fans.

The third of the famous southern rock Van Zant brothers, Donnie (older brother Ronnie was the founding vocalist for Lynyrd Skynyrd, and younger brother Johnny fronts the band presently) leads this band that meshes the southern rock of his brother's band, with blues guitar rock to form a unique sound different from either of its influences. Although all of these tracks are familiar to even casual fans, it's "Hold On Loosely", that most fans remember best.
